Hello Everyone! My name is Massimiliano

Faith | Sports | Culture | Passion for arts

I am an official tour guide of Rome, a theologian and a runner. I have a degree in languages and theology obviously. I specialize in Dogmatic Theology with a thesis on the Trinity Project according to the thinking of Cardinal Kasper, quoted from Pope Francis at his first general audience. As a runner, I won the gold medal at the Master World Champs in Lahti (Finland) and at the Master European Champs in Zittau (Germany). I specialize in 100, 200 and 400 meters dash.

My intention is you feel the passion I have for Rome according to christian and religious aspects of the Eternal City. The city of Rome focuses on Jesus and his everlasting message: Rome talks about him, but a special eye is due to his mother, the Vergin Mary, and the Eternal City says something about her too along several churches and monuments, and you can touch her presence. Let you being involve in a real spiritual enlightenment! And as the reverse of the same medal I’ll lead you with me in the same Rome discovering a fabulous city across roads and paths. And we’ll do that simply running! My passion in sports brings you following different itineraries and you’ll feel well in your mind and body.

I am excellent in tailored tours, small size group tours and personal client care.

Call me up and share the passion that makes things beautiful!.

My experience as a theologian started in 1999 when I met first Piero Coda, a teaching professor of Theology at the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome. I specialize in Dogmatic Theology with a thesis on Cardinal Walter Kasper’s theologian thinking, with a recent quotation of him by Pope Francis at his Angelus in St. Peter’s square last 17 march 2013. In the 90’. I worked as a translator of Pope’s John Paul II texts and documents by the Osservatore Romano (The Roman Observer), now the official newspaper of the Holy See. Afterwards, I revised theologian articles for the Pontifical Academy of Theology (PATH) from 2003 to 2007 and for the review SEFIR (Science and Theology: the ontological Quest), a parallel perspective on Science and Faith Quest according to Pope John Paul II’s letter Faith and Reason.

Being a theologian means to be involved continuously into the course of creation where God always gives birth to life and provides for all his living creatures. The process of creation is still now the key to God’s thinking: his creative act makes news and beautiful all things. St. Francis of Assisi in his writings talks about God saying to him “you are Beauty” and the same Beauty of God generates life and arts too.

Let’s you embrace from the Beauty of God’s creation and your life will be extraordinary gorgeous!

I am a licensed tour guide of Rome and I have an extraordinary passion for the roman history and culture. I’ll keep you to share same interesting stories related to what you would be seeing. I think a good guide need to be informative, friendly and knowledgeable too. The secret to be the best tour guide is linked to the words LOVE and TIME. Looking at the city with a loving eye makes the difference. That’s absolutely truthful! LOVE brings up to an eternal movement that keeps on moving us while TIME is the key to any loving action. TIME in Rome is in relation to LOVE. Speaking about TIME means to restore with love the history of an Eternal City. And that’s I am here for! LOVE makes things beautiful into the perfection of TIME. Share with me the loving TIME of this beautiful city!

I started running when I was very young and I got in touch with sports for I considered all my life a running event. Today I run not only for my body care, reaching always new goals for life, but also for a spiritual enlightenment. I strongly believe that the human body is linked to the religious world of prayer. The body sings an eternal music where all human beings are involved. Let you embrace from this world and your life will change! I promise.

Let’s have a look now to my results in my professional sporting career. I first run the 100 meters dash in 10.88 but when I was forty I run the same distance in 10.98. Not bad for an old athlete! Nevertheless, my best performances are in the 200 meters with 22.30 and in the 400 meters with 50.09. I won the gold medal running the 200 meters and the bronze medal in the 400 meters at the World Masters Athletics in Lahti (Finland) in 2009. I won the gold medal too in the 400 meters at the European Masters Athletics in Nyìregyhaza (Hungary) in 2010 and always gold medals in 100, 200 and 400 meters at the European Masters Athletics in Zittau (Germany) in 2012. No athlete in the masters history has never succeed in winning three golds medals in an international competition.
